On average this semester, 99 teachers shopped each week and received $81,779.65 in merchandise. We are so excited to see what teachers will be able to do with these supplies in their classrooms!
Additionally, in December, we have a related services shop for educators that are not usually eligible to come to our store. Related Services staff that participate in this event include school counselors, physical therapists, social workers, etc. This event allowed us to provide necessary school supplies to 143 shoppers for a total of $21,494.96 in merchandise distributed.
The Related Services shopping event allows Crayons to Classrooms to expand our mission even further. We recognize the need of helping students often extends beyond the classroom. The more supplies we are able to distribute into the community, the more students we are able to impact!
