The Dor-Wood Optimist Club awarded C2C a grant for the 2023-24 school year in support of Kettering teachers of students in need.
On July 20th, Crayons to Classrooms hosted forty-nine May 2023 Wright State University graduates for a First-Year Teacher Shopping Event.
Crayons to Classrooms received a contribution from Honda to support their STEM initiative and environmental program, Reduce and Reuse for Education.
In June, Crayons to Classrooms hosted two Make & Take Days for local teachers to volunteer and take home Classroom Solutions (CS) products.
On May 10th, Crayons to Classrooms hosted 139 teachers for a teacher appreciation event, Thanks-A-Million.
The Community Foundation for Kettering provides funds to enable Kettering teachers at ineligible schools to shop at Crayons to Classrooms.
"School supplies means we have the foundation to learn. The students take pride in their school supplies and know that they not only have supplies to use for classwork but to uncork their creative minds in their papers, experiments, and creations fueled by having the necessary supplies. The products are a lifeline for our students."
